As a photographer, my interests are particularly in landscape, architectural and abstract work. I work mainly in monochrome, but increasingly I am using digital processes for colour work. Although I do use 35mm, much of what I do is on larger formats - partly for image quality, probably more because it encourages a slower more thoughtful way of working.

I am exploring the use of the Nikon D70 digital SLR with my stock of manual Nikon lenses, especially for macro work. See here for the results so far. The circular pictures have been taken with a 16mm Zenitar in a home-built 6x6 camera. This allows the full image circle of the lens to be seen, and has produced some interesting images, and also some challenges to capture them convincingly.
