As well as photography, I also find time for some painting. In fact, a mixture of the two turns out to be a powerful source of inspiration. In 2005-06 I concentrated on a series of acrylic paintings on canvas with a monochrome photographic emulsion coated and exposed on the surface. This series was the focus of my ArtsFest show in October 05 - see below. Here are some examples, all 60 x 60 cm canvases with multiple layers of painted and photographic imagery:
